MMA ValorMixed Martial Arts and more importantly the women of the sport should get a little added boost of interest from an unlikely source.

The upcoming season of the popular reality series Survivor will feature a female MMA fighter and Police Officer named Sarah Lacina. This according to the website “True Dork Times” (no I’m not making that up), which list all the contestants for the upcoming season.

The 28th season of the show will be named Survivor Cagayan and the cast members will be split into groups based off the characteristics: Brains, Beauty & Brawn. While not official you’d have to think that an MMA Fighter / Police Officer would get characterized as being part of the brawn team…..

Sarah Lacina became a police officer in 2006 and was introduced to MMA by a friend in 2009. Lacina hasn’t fought since 2011 and currently holds a 1-1 professional record. While she might not be a household name to MMA fans any talk of the sport can only be of benefit, right?

My brain child is MMAValor, something I had wanted to do for a long time and finally it’s here. Been an MMA fan since TUF season one (play catch up all the time) and the obsession started to grow like a weed and as the sport grows so does the love for the sport. I’m a jack of all trades, a very organized person that rides an emotional roller coaster daily.
