Today Houston Alexander filled for a fighter licence with the NSAC and MMAJunkie is speculating he’ll fight Kimbo Slice Dec. 5th on the main card of the finale. I like this fight better on the finale card then the UFC 107 fight card as originally rumored. While I would have liked him to win at leastone fight to make it into the UFC having him fight in the finale makes since regardless. He is the driving force behind this season ratings and having him fight in the finale seem logical. Putting him in a main card on a PPV would have been in my opinion a reach and Dana White should have to answer the critics. The fight with Alexander is also a good match up for Slice since neither fighter will take it to the ground. If Kimbo loses we probably never see him again in the UFC, a win would more then likely earn him a contract in Dana Whites eye’s.
