Twenty-two shows in and still running hard, Legacy Fighting Championships have planted the seeds of many careers, and continue to turn out a hearty crop of fighters. This time however, the main event will feature names from outside the organization, as Paul Buentello drops to 205lbs and faces TUF fighter James McSweeney.
Tonight on AXS TV, Legacy Fighting Championship was back in Houston, Texas with LFC 21. While the card was headlined by two title fights it was the LFC debut of the former boxing champion Holly Holm that stole the show.

It was a scorching night in Texas for LFC 20, but that didn't stop the fighters from going all out in the cage, with action from bell to bell. Everything's bigger in Texas, and with a few key signings, Legacy Fighting Championship might just be the biggest promotion in the South. This event is all about the lower weight classes and the crop of former UFC talent LFC has been picking up, but don't count out the home-grown products who are looking to use these guys as a stepping stone in their budding careers.
One time UFC fighters Damacio Page, Junior Assuncao and Carlo Prater are all scheduled to fight later this month at LFC 20. For Page and Assuncao it will be their Legacy Fighting Championship debut, but for headliner Prater it will be his return to the promotion.
Light heavyweight DJ Linderman might not be superstar or a household name for that manner, but nevertheless he was the stiffest opponent to date for the submission ace Robert Drysdale. Fighting on the Legacy Fighting Championships 19 main card tonight on AXS TV, Drysdale improved to 6-0 with a first round rear-naked choke submission over Linderman.
No Bellator this week, no problem because Legacy Fighting Championship 19 was there tonight to fill you MMA fix and tide you over until tomorrow’s UFC. The night featured some up and coming prospects along with a flyweight title fight in the main event.
