We’ve been having trials and tribulations with Fight Pass the last few weeks, but the UFC comes roaring back with a UFC 171 PPV card worthy of the money. Our main event is for the vacant UFC Welterweight title, as Johny Hendricks looks to right the wrongs of his decision loss to GSP.
The UFC showcased “Fight Pass” today as the entire UFC Fight Night 37 fight card from the O2 Arena in London, England stream live from the platform. As the UFC touted the numbers Fight Pass was getting the fighters in England put on an entertaining show.
It was a double-header for MMA last night, with Bellator 111 kicking off the festivities with their Heavyweight tournament and RFA 13 bringing up the rear with a contentious main event fight.
The month seemed to fly by in record time and this month’s version of the MMA Fighter Rankings will look nearly the same as February’s. No it’s not because I just copied and pasted last month’s so stop thinking that. The fights in February just didn’t produce many upsets and thus the rankings hardly changed.
While last weeks Light Heavyweight tournament was painful, this weeks Heavyweight masquerade at Bellator 111 has potential to put a whole nation to sleep. On the bright side, we have a Bantamweight title fight, with blazing fast striker Eduardo Dantas facing sub grappler Anthony Leone.
UFC Fight Pass is attempting to justify the price tag, and I have to admit they’re doing a pretty good job so far. What the Macau card delivered in terms of entertainment, UFC Fight night 37 delivers in terms of Euro MMA name value, with several stalwart fighters making an appearance. Our main event is an odd one, as Alexander Gustafsson looks to bounce back from his title fight loss, taking on unheralded Jimi Manuwa.
Starting at the ungodly time of 3:20am Pt / 6:20am ET on Fight Pass, the TUF: China Finale preliminary card was honestly a very tough call to wake up early for. On the other hand the mornings main card, which started at 5am PT / 8am ET was more appealing and not so difficult to get out of bed when it was still dark outside.
Titan’s first major network broadcast went off without a hitch, as Titan FC 27 brought fans five main card bouts that delivered. For the hardcore fan, familiar faces held down the top of the card, and there wasn’t a blemish in terms of action or production of the show, making this a debut that signals good things in the future.

Due to a previously scheduled Arena Football game at the HP Pavilion, today’s UFC on FOX 7 weigh-ins were held less than a mile away at the California Theater. The small theater was completely filled with cheering fans and all the fighters they came to see made weight.

Amidst everything else going on, the UFC has themselves a busy day today with the UFC on FX 6 taking place in Australia and The Ultimate Fighter 16 finale weigh-ins. All 24 fighters made weight today for tomorrow’s event that will crown The Ultimate Fighter 16 welterweight winner.
UFC on FUEL TV 4 Weigh-in Results and Photos
SAN JOSE, Cal. – Still recovering from Saturday’s UFC 148, MMAValor.com was inside the HP Pavilion for today’s UFC on FUEL TV 4 weigh-ins. A few of the fighters would need to step onto the scale behind a towel but all 22 fighters on the UFC on FUEL TV 4 fight card made weight.
