Looking to build off the momentum from last year, Resurrection Fighting Alliance opened 2013 with Friday’s RFA 6 from the Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Missouri. The quickly rising lightweight James Krause headlined the card in a rematch against Toby Imada. The six bout RFA 6 main card aired live on AXS TV and also featured WEC and UFC veteran Brock Larson in the night’s co-main event.

Their bout aired live on AXS TV and preceded the Featherweight title fight between Jared Downing and Jordan Rinaldi. RFA 5 was just the promotions second event to air live on AXS TV following the acquisition of Titan Fighting Championship a couple of months back.

The winner of the Ultimate Fighter season 2 was also making his return to the lightweight division after a failed attempt at featherweight in his last UFC bout.
