For those of us skipping the abysmal UFC 147 card, we have an excellent and free card taking place at the UFC on FX 4 that should prove to be action-packed. In our main event, Gray Maynard will look to rebound from the first loss of his career as he faces lightweight perma-contender Clay Guida in an epic bout. With an emphasis on the lower weight classes for this card, we’re sure to see some fast and fierce battles, and there’s plenty of opportunity to make some quick cash here.

TUF Live MMA Betting Corner

The live TUF experiment will come to a conclusion here with a card packed with TUF talent and a MMA fight to determine the upper crust of the Welterweight division. Being as this is a TUF Finale card though, we’re going to have some slim pickings for wagers. I never condone wagers on TUF fighters at the finale due to the copious amount of X-factors involved with tough training conditions, big show jitters, inside knowledge of opponents and changing camps.

With the Overeem fiasco finally brought to a head, UFC 146 doesn’t have the title fight fans wanted, but it’s a title fight none-the-less. Coming in on short notice, former Heavyweight Champion Frank Mir will step up and take on the seemingly unstoppable Junior Dos Santos as the main event of this all heavyweight PPV. Heavyweight’s equal big cash for us more often than not and this card will be no exception.

As this train wreck of a Heavyweight Grand Prix comes to a close, it really helps you appreciate that Bellator can put on so many snag-free tournaments. Through a slew of injuries, both real and painfully fake, and a great deal of completely random alternates, we arrive at Josh Barnett vs. Daniel Cormier, with the winner being locked in the forever stasis of the Strikeforce Heavyweight Division.
