2011 is winding down and has been monumental for mixed martial arts. Icons were finished, veterans put on some of their best performances, champions were crowned in the face of adversity and some men have emerged from the shadows to the main stage of their respectful division. Looking back on the past year the bantamweight division is nothing new, it has just begun to take its true form under the UFC banner.
The fighters of Sundays exciting UFC on Versus 5 events learned of their medical fate today from the Wisconsin’s Department of Safety and Professional Services. 13 of the 24 fighters on the card appeared on the medical report, receiving either a 30-day medical rest period or an indefinite suspension.
What a night of fights tonight at UFC on Versus 5: Hardy vs. Lytle! Live inside the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin the 24 men that competed tonight put on a great show for the MMA fans. From top to bottom the card had a little bit of everything, from solid debuts to veterans going out on top.
Free cards are always great, but at this Sunday’s UFC Live: Hardy vs. Lytle fans get a bonus as the entire card is free. Yes all 12 UFC Mixed Martial Arts bout will air completely free on Facebook and then on the Versus network. As everyone beats the main card to death (including us) we decided to think outside the box and give you a look-see at the preliminary card streaming on Facebook.
The Ultimate Fighting Champion comes to the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for a rare Sunday MMA card this weekend. The free event will open up with the eight fight preliminary card on Facebook and finish with the four bout main card on the Versus Network starting a 6pm PT / 9pm ET.
It’s not often you get a free card with this many excellent match-ups, but the UFC has really outdone itself here. The only things you can hope for in a card this stacked is that a lot of these bouts end early, and that we all make some money on the side. Due to a previously scheduled Arena Football game at the HP Pavilion, today’s UFC on FOX 7 weigh-ins were held less than a mile away at the California Theater. The small theater was completely filled with cheering fans and all the fighters they came to see made weight.

SAN JOSE, Cal. – Still recovering from Saturday’s UFC 148, MMAValor.com was inside the HP Pavilion for today’s UFC on FUEL TV 4 weigh-ins. A few of the fighters would need to step onto the scale behind a towel but all 22 fighters on the UFC on FUEL TV 4 fight card made weight.
