Fan favorite Mike Swick, has signed a four fight extension with the UFC and will face Matt Brown at UFC on Fox 5 on December 8th at the Key Arena in Seattle, Washington. Swick spread the news via. his twitter account (@officialswick). Swick last fought in August against DeMarques Johnson, earning his second knockout of the night honors with a second round KO.
One of the best fights with the oddest conclusion will get its do-over as the main event of UFC on FX: Johnson vs. McCall, as “Uncle Creepy” Ian McCall takes on Demetrios “Mighty Mouse” Johnson. Nearly 70% (15 of 22) of the fighters on the UFC 143: Diaz vs. Condit card was issued medical suspensions today by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. Of the 15 fighters to be suspended, seven of those could be out of action for up to six months. One of the seven fighters that avoided suspension was Nick Diaz who lost in the main event to Carlos Condit by Unanimous Decision.
