The Ultimate Fighter: Team Bisping vs. Team Miller began production today in Las Vegas, Nevada, marking the 14th season for the popular reality series. Middleweights Michael Bisping and Jason “Mayhem” Miller will serve as coaches and the two will headline the show’s live finale in Las Vegas in December, with the show premiering in September.
Once it was announced that Jason “Mayhem” Miller would coach opposite Michael Bisping on Season 14 of The Ultimate Fighter, Aaron Simpson was left without an opponent at UFC 132 in July. Now with just over a month until the fight, Brad Tavares has been chosen as the replacement against Simpson.

It’s a big get together of all the UFC big wigs and fighters and they cover issues facing the sport’s growth and the fighter’s futures. It made me wonder what a MMA Media Summit might look like. News broke Friday that Jason “Mayhem” Miller had signed a multi-fight contract with the UFC and now, just 24 hours later, he has an opponent.
The last time we saw Mayhem in the UFC he fought at Welterweight and valiantly lost a Unanimous Decision to George St. Pierre back at UFC 52: Couture vs. Liddell 2. Since then he has bounced around between many fighting organizations such as Icon Sports, DREAM, WEC and most recently, Strikeforce.

Due to a previously scheduled Arena Football game at the HP Pavilion, today’s UFC on FOX 7 weigh-ins were held less than a mile away at the California Theater. The small theater was completely filled with cheering fans and all the fighters they came to see made weight.
