The UFC takes center stage this weekend with their Fan Expo and mega event UFC 148, both happening in Las Vegas, Nevada. Former UFC light heavyweight and heavyweight champion Randy Couture is likely to be at both events, that is unless his busy movie schedule keeps him away.
WMMA pioneer Gina Carano was the first real face of the female side of mixed martial arts. Gina stormed the MMA world with her wicked good looks, charisma, and not to be overlooked her amazing fighting skill. Gina has been in the news a lot here the last couple of weeks, but not because of her in exploits inside the cage.
D&E Entertainment has announced that they have acquired the feature film, The Hammer (previously titled, Hamill), for theatrical distribution with the film will be released theatrically nationwide on October 27th. Additionally, ARC Entertainment will be heading VOD/DVD/BluRay distribution and Archstone Distribution will be heading international distribution of the film.
With the huge success of Quinton “Rampage” Jackson’s The A-Team fans are already clamoring for the sequel.
