Shark Fights 13 complete breakdown

This Saturday live on pay-per-view you will be able to catch Shark Fights 13: Jardine vs Prangley from Amarillo, TX. This card has a lot of top name contenders and former UFC veterans the top to bottom. The card is headlined by “The Dean of Mean” Keith Jardine (15-8-1) who will be making his return since being release from the UFC.

The first fight of the evening will be between welterweights, Pete Spratt (21-17) and Eric Davila (17-10). They both come into this bout with good submission game, Spratt has 8 submissions and Davila has 12, but don’t count Spratt out for the knockout. September 11th, 2010, “The Dean of Mean” Keith Jadine (15-8) will look to open up new opportunities for his future in MMA. Jardine is looking to start over and prove he is still a top contender in the rising sport. He gets his first shot at a fresh start in less than two weeks against veteran Trevor Prangley (22-6) in the main event of Shark Fights 13.

Jardine, a cast member of The Ultimate Fighter 2 was released from the UFC after his fourth consecutive loss against Matt Hamil at The Ultimate Fighter 11 Finale. Jardine left the UFC with a record of 6-7, having lost six of his last eight bouts with the organization. Read the rest of this entry »

Keith Jardine vs Trevor Prangley at Shark Fights 13

Recently released light heavyweight, Keith Jardine (15-8-1) will get first post UFC fight against Trevor Prangley (22-6-1). According to Sherdog.com the fight will take place on September 11th at Shark Fights 13 on Sept. 11 in Lubbock, Texas.

Prangley is actually the promotions light heavyweight champion, earning the belt at Shark Fights 7 with a first round submission over Marcus Sursa. The fight with Jardine though will not be for that light heavyweight belt. Since winning the belt, the South African Prangley dropped down to 185 lbs. and fought twice for Strikeforce going 0-1 with one draw. Read the rest of this entry »
