This year has seen plenty of changes to the top of our fighter rankings and several fighters that began the year “knocking on the door” now find themselves ranked. Fighters outside the UFC made a case this year and you’ll see several Bellator MMA fighters in the rankings below.
A card so powerful even the loss of a main event and co-main couldn’t make it suck, UFC on Fox 9 comes at us with a full ensemble of amazing bouts.
As you know the UFC is returning to Sacramento, California in December for the UFC on FOX 9. Since the announcement of the event the UFC has been quickly filling up the fight card and “on paper”, you’d have to agree that Northern California is getting one of the best MMA cards of 2013.

Duane Ludwig is the best thing to happen to Team Alpha Male since Urijah Faber! The Muay Thai turn mixed martial artist is transitioning from fighter to coach as the head striking coach from the Sacramento, CA based Team Alpha Male. Ludwig has only been at the helm for less than a year, but Team alpha Male hasn’t looked better.
This past weekend Fox debuted their all sports channel Fox Sports 1 and UFC Fight Night 26 was a major part of the festivities. Fan favorite and top ranked bantamweight Urijah Faber was part of the events main card and would earn his third consecutive win via unanimous decision over Luri Alcantara.
If you haven’t heard the UFC has brought back the Fight Night’s in honor of moving to the new Fox Sports 1 channel which launches this weekend with UFC Fight Night 26: Shogun vs. Sonnen.
The UFC Fight Night is back, and the UFC is kicking off the resurgence of the series in Boston, Massachusetts as part of the Fox Sports 1 launch. This card is one of the best you’ll see on free TV, so while the cable and satellite hash out the details of the new sports channel, I’ll go ahead and hash out these fights.

Bellator 100 Weigh-in Pictures
Last night the fighters for tonight’s Bellator 100 stepped onto the scales with all 24 fighters making weight. The historic 100th event for Bellator takes places tonight from the Grand Canyon University Arena in Phoenix, Arizona and features an all welterweight main card on Spike TV.

Due to a previously scheduled Arena Football game at the HP Pavilion, today’s UFC on FOX 7 weigh-ins were held less than a mile away at the California Theater. The small theater was completely filled with cheering fans and all the fighters they came to see made weight.
The Ultimate Fighter 16 Finale Weigh-in Pictures
Amidst everything else going on, the UFC has themselves a busy day today with the UFC on FX 6 taking place in Australia and The Ultimate Fighter 16 finale weigh-ins. All 24 fighters made weight today for tomorrow’s event that will crown The Ultimate Fighter 16 welterweight winner.
UFC on FUEL TV 4 Weigh-in Results and Photos
SAN JOSE, Cal. – Still recovering from Saturday’s UFC 148, MMAValor.com was inside the HP Pavilion for today’s UFC on FUEL TV 4 weigh-ins. A few of the fighters would need to step onto the scale behind a towel but all 22 fighters on the UFC on FUEL TV 4 fight card made weight.
