bader2The UFC is building a very strong fight card for their first trip down under adding today a Light Heavyweight showdown between Ryan “Darth” Bader and” The deam of mean” Keith Jardine. MMAWeekly is reporting that bout agreements have been issued for the upcoming fight but not made official.

Bader is 10-0 overall and 3-0  inside the cage since winning the eighth season of the Ultimate fighter. He has looked very good since beating Vinny Magalhães in the TUF finale showing much improved striking against Eric Schafer in his most recent fight at UFC 104. Jardine will be easily the toughest fight to date for Bader but a win over the very tough Jardine would more him from up and comer to contender.

Jardine (15-6) is in need a win in the worst way after losing back to back fights to Quinton Rampage Jackson and Thiago Silva. A major contender in the Light Heavyweight Jardine has beaten two former UFC champ in Chuck Liddell and Forest Griffin. He has just never been able to string together enough wins to reach the top and now faces a fight that could possible be for his UFC life.

I really like how UFC 110 is shaping up right now. Check out the latest rumored fight card.
