Tickets go on sale this week for UFC 128 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on March 19, 2011. Headlined by the long-awaited light heavyweight championship fight between Maurico ”Shogun” Rua (19-4) and the challenger, Rashad Evans (15-1). The poster was also introduced and besides the main event it also features the bantamweight bout between Urjiah Faber and Eddie Wineland.
Also on the card will be a lightweight bout between Jim Miller and Kamal Shalorus plus a heavyweight bout between Mirko Cro Cop and Brendan Schaub. Here is the complete fight card, plus all the info for the ticket presale.
- Light Heavyweight Championship bout: Maurício Rua vs. Rashad Evans
- Bantamweight bout: Urijah Faber vs. Eddie Wineland
- Lightweight bout: Jim Miller vs. Kamal Shalorus
- Lightweight bout: Edson Barboza vs. Anthony Njokuani
- Lightweight bout: Kurt Pellegrino vs. Gleison Tibau
- Bantamweight bout: Joseph Benavidez vs. Ian Loveland
- Welterweight bout: Ricardo Almeida vs. Mike Pyle
- Heavyweight bout: Mirko ”Cro Cop” Filipović vs. Brendan Schaub
- Middleweight bout: Nate Marquardt vs. Yoshihiro Akiyama
