The Amateur MMA Fighting Championship, TUFF-N-UFF returns to the Cox Pavilion on Friday, August 26, 2011 for the promotions next event. The night of action pack fights will begin at 7 p.m. and will feature some of the best amateur fighters in the world.
“Many of the top male and female amateur fighters coming from the best gyms will be competing, including Xtreme Couture, Wand Fight team, Tapout, Throwdown, and many more,” said Barry Meyer, TUFF-N-UFF President.
Some of the exciting bouts confirmed include the 110 lbs. Title fight between Xtreme Couture’s Jordan McDonald (4-1) and Liz McCarthy (4-0) from Damage Inc. In welterweight action Vince Van Slyke (1-1) from Cascao Jiu-Jitsu will go head to head with Damien Jackson (3-0) of team Hard Knox. Jillian Lybarger (3-4) from team Rise Above looks to add another win to her record against American Revolution fighter Jordan Gaza (2-1) in a 115 lbs. bout. Lightweight Kyosuke Yokoyama (2-0) representing Xtreme Couture putting his undefeated record on the line against Wand Fight Teams Zach Grossman (2-1).
Former Playboy model Latasha Marzola (2-1) from Wand Fight Team is also slated to be on the fight card. No opponent for Marzola has been announced. All bouts are live and subject to change.
