UFC 156It’s Super Bowl weekend and the UFC has stacked the UFC 156 fight card from top to bottom, including a super fight in the featherweight division. So put down you Super Bowl 47 Odds for just a moment while we predict the 11 bouts scheduled for Saturday’s UFC 156 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Headlining the card will be as close to a super fight the UFC has put together since BJ Penn moved up in weight to take on Georges St. Pierre at UFC 94. After losing his lightweight title and then the rematch, Frankie Edgar is finally moving down to featherweight to take on the undisputed champion Jose Aldo. Edgar dethroned Penn to win the lightweight title and made three title defenses before losing to Benson Henderson, twice. Aldo has been a buzz saw since joining the WEC in 2008. He defeated Uriah Faber to win the WEC title before being named the UFC champion when the WEC merged. In total he has defended the WEC/UFC titles five times in pretty dominate fashion.

In the UFC 156 co-main event spot is the former light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans returning to action to take on Antonio Rogerio Nogueira. Evans is coming off a loss to champion Jon Jones and has been contemplating a possible move to middleweight. Nogueira hasn’t stepped into the Octagon in almost 14 months after suffering a knee injury.

The remaining UFC 156 main card bouts that will air live on PPV are heavyweights Alistair Overeem vs. Antonio Silva, welterweights Jon Fitch vs. Demian Maia and flyweights Joseph Benavidez vs. Ian McCall to open the main card.

Highlighting the UFC 156 preliminary card will a lightweight bout between Evan Dunham and Gleison Tibau but don’t overlook the other lightweight bout between Yves Edwards vs. Isaac Vallie-Flagg. The preliminary card will begin on Facebook with two fights before moving to FX fro the remaining four fights.

I’m a jack of all trades, a very organized person that rides an emotional roller coaster daily.
