UFC Fight Night 32 Predictions
No you are not seeing double or experiencing some deja vu, yes UFC Fight Night 32 is tomorrow and yes they are back in Brazil. It’s the seventh and final trip to Brazil in 2013 for the UFC and many of the familiar faces our on the card.
Headlining the UFC Fight Night 32 and making his third consecutive fight in his home country will be Vitor Belfort. Brazil has been very good to Belfort in 2013 as he’s brutally knocked out Michael Bisping and the former Strikeforce middleweight champion Luke Rockhold. For this bout though Belfort will be moving back up to light heavyweight. His opponent will be Dan Henderson who has yet to be knocked out in his long career, plus already holds a win over him. Henderson is coming off back to back split decision losses and is in jeopardy of dropping three fights in a row for the very first time. Both fighters might be getting long in the tooth but do not let this deter you from watching because this fight should be a slugfest.
Many fighters who’ve already appeared on a UFC Brazil card are also fighting tomorrow but there are a few new faces. One of those will be Brandon Thatch who is making his second Octagon appearance against Paulo Thiago. Thatch (10-1) is a very hot prospect whose finished all of his opponents within the first round. How he handles the step up in competition inside hostile territory will be rather intriguing.
Just days ago at UFC fight night 31 my predictions went 11-2 to bring the overall up to 222-105 (67.8%). This recent run I’ve been on has helped bring the winning percentage up to nearly 70%. As I’ve said before though Brazilian fight cards are tough to call but with their being many familiar faces it does help a little.
UFC Fight Night 31 will take place at the Goiania Arena in Goiania, Goias, Brazil.
