Last night, two UFC heavyweights were rather vocal on Twitter about their rumored match up. The former UFC heavyweight champ Frank Mir first tweeted “Who’s gonna watch me @UFC 130 vs @roynelsonmma?”. That was then followed up by TUF 10 winner Roy “Big Country” Nelson tweeting “What do you guys think about me fighting @thefrankmir for UFC 130?”.

The two were then bombarded with questions, including one fan that tweeted at Nelson asking if the bout would be co-main event of the night. Nelson would later reply “YES, it is scheduled for the Co-Main Event!!!!”.

The UFC has not officially announced any fights for UFC 130, but all the signs are pointing to Frank Mir and Roy Nelson fighting at UFC 130 in Las Vegas on May 28th.

UFC 130 will be headlined by the third meeting between Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard for the lightweight championship.
