Fans were treated to some afternoon MMA today as Cage Warriors presented Fight Night 5 from the New Boxing Arena in Amman, Jordan. The night was headlined by a heavyweight matchup between Bobby Brents and later replacement DJ Linderman but all eyes were on the semifinal round in the middleweight division.

Pavel Kusch and Victor Cheng each got the win using completely different methods and will now face each other for the Cage Warriors middleweight championship. Cheng defeated Faycal Hucin with a 15 minute smothering in route to a unanimous decision, while Kusch need less than 30 seconds to grab a limb of his opponent John Phillips for a heel hook submission. The two will now face each other at a later date, with the winner being crowned the champion.

My brain child is MMAValor, something I had wanted to do for a long time and finally it’s here. Been an MMA fan since TUF season one (play catch up all the time) and the obsession started to grow like a weed and as the sport grows so does the love for the sport. I’m a jack of all trades, a very organized person that rides an emotional roller coaster daily.
