Well, if you couldn’t guess by the title, it’s time for me to close the book on this chapter of my life and leave my MMA Valor gloves in the center of the cage. It wasn’t an easy decision to make, in fact I’ve been struggling with it for a long time but it’s time for me to say “Thank you and Goodnight!”
With a myriad of events between Fight Night, Fight Pass and PPV, we have live UFC entertainment nearly every weekend. For sports fans, this is a great era to live in, where any night can be one of thrilling battles, vicious KOs and dazzling submissions.
Last summer I wrote a piece about the business of MMA, detailing all sides of the fight game as it pertains to the UFC and their fighters. As the topic continues to generate buzz, fighters continue to air their dirty laundry and key players in the UFC continue to curse their way into the hot seat.
It was a night of fast finishes and career-defining victories, as Combat Zone packed Rockingham Park to the gills. If you couldn’t make the trip to Salem to catch the area’s best amateur and professional talent, allow me to paint you the picture of Combat Zone 48.
A duel title bout made for an important night at WSOF 9 for the promotion. While the card suffered in terms of pacing on the prelims, the main card was fairly solid all around, showing the best of what WSOF offers.
One and a half tournament finals were set and a title stayed affixed to a dominant champion’s waist in Utah, as the curtain closed on Bellator 114. It was a great night all around, without a weak performance on the card.
It’s been awhile since WSOF held a proper event, and while the star power isn’t here, the WSOF 9 fights should prove to be competitive and entertaining. The WSOF 9 main event features a surprising champion in Steve Carl facing a well-known crippler in Rousimar Palhares.
Bellator goes high altitude for a title fight, as well as the semi-finals of their Featherweight and Middleweight tournaments at Bellator 114. While this is going down in Utah, the vibe is decidedly New England, with Brennan Ward, contesting for the Middleweight strap, and Desmond Green and Matt Bessette fighting on opposite sides of the Featherweight bracket.
Last night’s UFC Fight Night 38 was a very bizarre night of fights in bestaucasinosonline Brazil. Nearly every underdog took home the win while points were being deducted against non-Brazilian’s left and right. With an arena that doesn’t have air conditioning; the fights inside the cage were horrifically exhausting, making for some awful performances, sprinkled with spectacular finishes.

Bellator 100 Weigh-in Pictures
Last night the fighters for tonight’s Bellator 100 stepped onto the scales with all 24 fighters making weight. The historic 100th event for Bellator takes places tonight from the Grand Canyon University Arena in Phoenix, Arizona and features an all welterweight main card on Spike TV.

Due to a previously scheduled Arena Football game at the HP Pavilion, today’s UFC on FOX 7 weigh-ins were held less than a mile away at the California Theater. The small theater was completely filled with cheering fans and all the fighters they came to see made weight.
The Ultimate Fighter 16 Finale Weigh-in Pictures
Amidst everything else going on, the UFC has themselves a busy day today with the UFC on FX 6 taking place in Australia and The Ultimate Fighter 16 finale weigh-ins. All 24 fighters made weight today for tomorrow’s event that will crown The Ultimate Fighter 16 welterweight winner.
UFC on FUEL TV 4 Weigh-in Results and Photos
SAN JOSE, Cal. – Still recovering from Saturday’s UFC 148, MMAValor.com was inside the HP Pavilion for today’s UFC on FUEL TV 4 weigh-ins. A few of the fighters would need to step onto the scale behind a towel but all 22 fighters on the UFC on FUEL TV 4 fight card made weight.
