Following the start of the Bellator MMA summer series tonight, the promotion unveiled their reality show Fight Master: Bellator MMA.
Back from a long vacation, Bellator came back with a fury to heat up our Summertime MMA with tonight’s Bellator 96. With two tourneys in the works and some high-profile singles bouts, we had plenty of action in the cage, so check out the breakdown below if you missed out.
It’s been awhile, but Bellator MMA is back this week with another tournament and more MMA talent from near and far. Wednesday’s Bellator 96 event will kick off the Summer Series and fresh tournaments in the Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight division, as well as the “much-anticipated” return of War Machine.
Bellator MMA CEO Bjorn Rebney has said on many occasions that Bellator would never become a feeder system for the UFC. He’s also stated that only under the right circumstances would Bellator sign fighter’s castoff by the UFC.
Ask an MMA fan who Keith Miner is and they will likely shrug their shoulders, explain to them he is an MMA fighter who also happens to be an amputee and they’ll likely mistake him for Nick Newell. Keith Miner is also an amputee turned Mixed Martial Artist who will be fighting on the June 19th Bellator MMA undercard and in doing so will become the first amputee to fight for the promotion.
