Back for it’s third year is the UFC: Ultimate Fight Collection 2013, a massive DVD collection from the UFC and Anchor Bay filled with a years worth of fights. Spanning between July of 2012 thru June of 2013, there is over 50 hours of UFC action encompassing 200 fights across 20 DVD disc.

A solid night of fights all around at tonight’s UFC 164. There was plenty of high quality action in the cage across all weight classes. A belt changed hands, contenders were set on track, and we learned a lot about several fighters, old and new.
Following Wednesday Fight Night 27 event, the UFC makes a quick turnaround for tomorrow’s UFC 164 from Milwaukee, Wisconsin as part of the Harley Davidson Hometown Showdown. Headlining the fight card is the UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson looking to avenge his loss to Anthony Pettis back at WEC 53.
There has been a fair bit of controversy surrounding the UFC 164 main event, but whether or not the matchmaking is suspect, the match itself is sure to be magnificent. Years removed from their last outing, Henderson and Pettis are back to see whose come the farthest since WEC closed their doors, and it’s anyone’s guess who will hold the belt at night’s end.

Everyone loves a title fight. The belt brings out the fair weather fans in droves, gets the production crews working overtime, and has the high rollers freeing up their bankroll for wagers. Championship fights embody why betting on sports is so exciting, but us gamblers aren’t the only ones who need to clear a profit at events. MMA is a big money industry, and the UFC has hundreds of people counting on the continued success of their brand, with Pay Per Views being the cash cow of the industry.
