The third championship bout between heavyweights Cain Velasquez and Junior dos Santos happens this weekend at UFC 166. The night’s main event is being called the “final chapter”, but with the state of the division and in all likelihood this will not be the last time these two touch gloves.

The UFC was back in their second home of Brazil tonight for UFC on FX 7. The event took place inside the Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil and feature Brazilian Vitor Belfort against Michael Bisping in the night’s main event. The always ruckus Brazilian crowd cheered on as their fellow countrymen took to the Octagon.
The first UFC event of 2013 will take place in the promotions new favorite spot, as middleweights Vitor Belfort and Michael Bisping square off in the UFC on FX 7 main event. The Brazilian Belfort will fight in his home country against the Englishman Bisping, who is trying to finally earn himself a title shot. Their five round non-title main event will take place from inside the Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Before the heavyweights take over the night’s main card, the UFC 146 preliminary card will take place from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The UFC 146 Preliminary card features three bouts on Facebook to open the night, before concluding with four bouts on FX that’ll lead into the main card on PPV.
An all heavyweight main card, now that’s just insane, right? Well contrary to those beliefs, the UFC has put together a main card featuring 10 heavyweights, including a title fight in the main event. The card has seen major changes up and down, including every single main card bout, but through all the changes UFC 146 is still a top-notch card.
