Pat Barry made quite the statement at the UFC on the FX 1: Guillard vs. Miller under card, as he was yet again matched up against a much larger opponent with a sizable advantage in height, weight, and reach. Standing at 5′-11” puts Barry in this position more often than not, but he always shows the heart of a lion, and a willingness to fight until there’s either nothing left in him, someone taps out, or somebody gets KO’d.

We all know the outcome now in that Dos Santos knocked out Velasquez in just 64 seconds to capture the heavyweight title, and also remain undefeated inside the octagon.

Mixed Martial Thoughts: UFC on Fox and why Clay Guida shouldn’t have been in the title picture

Hungry Guida

How monumental was UFC on Fox 1?  It was so monumental that my 5-year-old was allowed to stay up and watch “the fights”.  While she is very aware that daddy is a big fight fan she is also aware that she isn’t allowed to stay up and watch them. Not on this Saturday.
