Last year we gave away the UFC: Ultimate Fight Collection 2012 to one lucky fun just for telling us their favorite bout of 2012. Well we are pleased to announce that we are bring back the giveaway this year for a brand new 2013 edition of the UFC Fight Collection.
The high from last night’s UFC 166 is still running through the veins of MMA fans everywhere. It was the best fight card of the year and arguably the best of all-time, but last night’s UFC 166 was also a dominate performance from the northern California fighters.
Dana White and Joe Rogan declared UFC 166 the greatest night of fights ever, and I’m inclined to agree with those gentlemen. There was a ton of action and amazing performances across the board, so he’s what stuck out to me for the night.
The third championship bout between heavyweights Cain Velasquez and Junior dos Santos happens this weekend at UFC 166. The night’s main event is being called the “final chapter”, but with the state of the division and in all likelihood this will not be the last time these two touch gloves.
Cain Velasquez and Junior Dos Santos are the class of the heavyweight division in mixed martial arts. They have proven thus far that they are head and shoulders above the competition. As a result, they will be fighting each other for the third time in two years at this weekend’s UFC 166. This is a product of their superiority combined with the overall lack of depth in the heavyweight division.
This weekend’s UFC 166 is a night of current and former champions; with title holders from the UFC, Strikeforce and Bellator all piling onto one of the best PPVs of the year. This tilt is worth the price of admission alone, but we’ve got plenty more action to whet the palate.

With Anderson Silva only getting older and GSP openly discussing approaching the end of his career, the UFC needs Jon Jones to be the next face of the MMA. Putting your money behind a young, athletic, well-spoken champion who has dominated his weight class seems like a wise investment.
