Now that the 13th season of the Ultimate Fighter is in the books it’s time to crown yet another season’s champion. Ramsey Nijem of Team Dos Santos will take on Tony Ferguson from Team Lesnar for that six figure contract. Ironically both fighters were the coaches’ picks to make it to the finals.

Tim Credeur vs Ed Herman targeted for The Ultimate Fighter Finale 13
After an almost two-year layoff, Tim “Crazy” Credeur will make his UFC return at The Ultimate Fighter 13 Finale against Ed “Short Fuse” Herman. The Ultimate Fighter Finale 13 is expected to take place at The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas on June 4th. The card will be headlined by a #1 contenders match featuring the last WEC Lightweight Champion, Anthony “Showtime” Pettis taking on Clay “The Carpenter” Guida.
Rioting in the streets – An Interview with Tim Credeur
Tim Credeur became a household name to MMA fans during season 7 of the Ultimate Fighter where he was one fight away from the finals on to separate occasions. With four UFC fights under his belt, Credeur quickly became a fan favorite for his willingness to brawl. That was evident during Credeur’s last fight where he ended up standing toe to toe with Nate Quarry instead of taking the fight to the ground and use he’s BJJ Black Belt. Credeur was cool enough to talk with me after a full day of training at Gladiators Academy. We talked about his recent injury, Adderall, the McBlack Belt & even the Superbowl.
The Warriors Bond
When it comes to having a strong bond with this Nations heroes and professional sports I believe there is no better relationship than the one between the Ultimate Fighting Championship and the United States military. Two different aspects of life, but the warrior spirit in common, makes for a unique and special bond and a growing partnership with limitless possibilities. Some like Randy Couture, Brian Stann, Tim Creduer, and Brandon Vera share that bond, for they were ex service members themselves. The UFC has had two “Fight for the troops” cards UFN 7 and UFN 16, which seemed to showcase fighters giving it all in some of the most brutal, injury causing fights in the UFC’s past. They fought their hearts out, knowing it was for a great cause.
