Legacy FC 8: Spratt vs. Patino Results

| September 17, 2011 | Reply

Legacy Fighting Championship hit the HDNet airwaves last night with another exciting Mixed Martial Arts event. Michael Schiavello and Frank Trigg called all the night’s action once again, live from the Houston Arena Theater in Houston, Texas.

“Are you loving Legacy or what? Yet AGAIN like in July these fights are BRINGING IT BIG TIME!!! Loving this!!!,” tweeted Schiavello.

The night wasn’t free of its share of controversy as the judges once again made a few questionable calls with their decisions.

Many people, including Schiavello thought the veteran Pete Spratt won the Legacy FC welterweight title but it was Jorge Patino who was given the split decision victory. Their back and forth five round title fight capped off an 11 bout fight card with a questionable, yet entertaining ending.

My brain child is MMAValor, something I had wanted to do for a long time and finally it’s here. Been an MMA fan since TUF season one (play catch up all the time) and the obsession started to grow like a weed and as the sport grows so does the love for the sport. I’m a jack of all trades, a very organized person that rides an emotional roller coaster daily.
