Bellator 58 Results

In what many can call the most exciting night of MMA action this year, Bellator had a hidden gem and some stunning results to add to the mayhem. In what seems to be the standout organization outside of Zuffa, Bellator had a champ fall tonight in one heck of a war.

Michael Chandler boosted his undefeated record when he brought the fight to one of the world’s best in Eddie Alvarez. In the first three rounds the fans noticed two things, the fight wasn’t in either fighter’s court, and both were high-caliber fighters with great chins. In the fourth Chandler connected hard with Alvarez, sending him to the mat where he was caught in a tight real naked choke. At the 3:06 mark of round four Bellator had itself a new top lightweight that choked his way into the worldwide rankings picture. Chandler really lived up to his early Bellator Championship promises and could be a very hard champion to knock off.

Hector Lombard once again finished his opponent with a stunning KO, finishing Trevor Prangley early in the second round. Jessica Aguilar dominated Lisa Ellis on all three score cards, later calling out Fuji in search of a top challenge. Last but not least Marlon Sandro finished Rafael Diaz with an arm triangle submission early in the first.

Hopefully many fans are in with the times and at least DVR’d the fights because this only added to the greatness that went down on the UFC card. What else could you ask for in one night of MMA, and please if you can think of a more exciting one than this fill out the comment section below.
