UFC Fight Night 27: Condit vs. Kampmann 2 Bold Predictions
After helping launch FOX Sports 1 last weekend the UFC returns this week with a Wednesday card from the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. While it has some big shoes to fill, UFC Fight Night 27 has the match ups to delivery another great card.
UFC Fight Night 27 is headlined by the welterweight rematch between Carlos Condit and Martin Kampmann. Both fighters are coming off losses to the current #1 contender to the title Johny Hendricks, but are still highly ranked within the division. While their bout doesn’t have a title shot on the line, there is still plenty on the line as neither want to drop two in a row.
In the night’s co-main event lightweight Donald Cerrone and Rafael dos Anjos square off in what could be the odds on favorite for fight of the night. The rest of the UFC Fight Night 27 main card feature several former TUF fighters, including last season winner Kelvin Gastelum making his welterweight debut against Brian Melancon.
The events preliminary card gets underway on Facebook with two bouts before finishing up with four more bouts on FOX Sports 2.
At last weekend’s UFC Fight Night 26 I went 8-5 with my predictions to bring the overall record to 152-83 (65%). The midweek card is a tough one to pick but a fun one, here has I see things playing out.
