MFC 34: Total Recall took place Friday night in Edmonton, Alberta at the Mayfield Trade Centre, and all of the main card fights aired live on AXS TV. The main event was a rematch between Mukai Maromo and Adam Lynn and it was supposed to be a 5 round title fight for the vacant lightweight belt. That all went out the window when Maromo missed weight and the fight was changed to a 3 round scrap.

The Maximum Fighting Championship had three fighters miss weight for Friday’s MFC 34: Total Recall event, including Adam Lynn who was scheduled to Mukai Maromo for the vacant MFC lightweight title. The fight will still take place but has now been reduced to a three-round, non-title fight.

Canadian promotion Maximum Fighting Championship (MFC) has announced that they will become the first Mixed Martial Arts organization within Canada to put their fighters through random drug testing of performance enhancing drugs. Maximum Fighting Championship has an event coming up on Friday but testing will not begin until MFC 35: Explosive Encounter comes around in October.

After making one change to the MFC 34 lineup, Maximum Fighting Championship has finalized the lineup for the August 10th MFC 34: Total Recall lineup. The lone change to the lineup was Jason Zentgraf stepping in for Mike Kent to take on Cody Krahn in the opening televised bout at MFC 34.

Since his time on The Ultimate Fighter season 11, middleweight Joseph Henle has done nothing but win. Defeating now UFC veteran Constantinos Philippou in the elimination round, Henle lost in the preliminary round to Seth Baczynski and was not brought back to fight in the finale.
