MFC 33: Collision Course Weigh-in Results

The two welterweights that will face off for the Maximum Fighting Championship’s welterweight title at tonight’s MFC 33: Collision Course made weight yesterday. Too bad the same could not be said for Edwin Dewees and Andrew Buckland.

Welterweights Nathan Coy and Ryan McGillivray will fight in the night’s main event for the vacant title. Nathan Coy (10-4), who fights out of American Top Team’s camp in Coconut Creek, Florida, defeated Dhiego Lima at MFC 32 in January to earn his spot in the title fight. Ryan McGillivray (13-5) rebounded from his lose to Shamar Bailey at the TUF 13 finale to defeat Diego Bautista by 3rd round armbar at MFC 32.

The MFC 33: Collision Course card will air live on HDNet Fights from the Mayfield Conference Centre beginning at 10 p.m. ET/8 p.m. MT/7 p.m. PT (check local listings for channel designation).
