The fan outcry for the possible reason to why Gerald Harris (18-4) was cut from the UFC was diluted even more last night when Harris took on Anthony Ruiz (25-16) at Tachi Palace Fights 9: Contenders. Last Thursday night MMA veteran Anthony Ruiz pulled off a minor upset when he defeated former UFC fighter Hector Ramirez by a narrow split decision. The fight was one of the main attractions of the night for Tachi Palace Fights III at the Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino, Lemoore, California.
