Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix Final Set for May 19th

A tournament that seems to have been running forever will finally be coming to an end on May 19th. During tonight’s Strikeforce: Tate vs. Rousey event the promotion release a promo video for the Heavyweight Grand Prix final between Josh Barnett and Daniel Cormier, happening on May 19th. The location for the Grand Prix finals is yet to be determined, but it’s been rumored to take place in San Jose, California.

Heavyweight Tournament, Former UFC Champions and Regan Penn Anchor ProElite 2: Big Guns

After a successful return to MMA, ProElite will hold their second event on November 5, 2011 from the “I wireless” Center in Moline, Illinois. Unlike their first show ProElite 2: Big Guns will be debuting on HDNet and features the opening round of their eight man heavyweight tournament as well as Reagan Penn’s second pro fight.
