Dynamic welterweight Ben “Killa B” Saunders has received his walking papers from the UFC after his Unanimous Decision lose to Dennis Hallman at UFC 117. Saunders tweeted the news late Thursday night.

“Sorry everyone I tried to fight my best these past two fights but ended up getting out worked… the UFC has officially cut me.”

Since his time on Season 6 of The Ultimate Fighter, Saunders has gone 4-3 within the organization, though he has dropped three of his last four bouts. His last win came back in November of 2009 at UFC 106 when he became the first man to knockout Marcus Davis. Since then, Saunders has lost two unanimous decisions to Jon Fitch and Dennis Hallman.

According to Saunders’ twitter, the UFC wants him to work on his wrestling and ground game and you know he will take that to heart. Hopefully after a few good fights and plenty of training on the ground, we will see “Killa B” back in the Octagon again.
