The UFC heads into uncharted territory with its upcoming 18th season of The Ultimate Fighter. The long running reality series will feature women coaches for the first time, as well as both male and female fighters living in the same house while separately competing for a UFC contract.

The UFC has stacked tonight’s Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale with a mixture of fighter’s from the reality series as well as proven talent. Along with crowning a new Ultimate Fighter winner the night is headlined by an important bantamweight bout between Urijah Faber and Scott Jorgensen.
Miesha Tate will be fighting against Cat Zingano at The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale this Saturday. But there is more hanging in the balance than bragging rights or fighter’s pride. The winner of the second UFC women’s fight will go on to star opposite Ronda Rousey in next season’s Ultimate Fighter and eventually fight for her title.
Prior to today’s TUF 17 weigh-ins featherweight headliner Urijah Faber decided to burn off that last few decimal points of weight by challenging Ultimate Fighter 17 finalist Uriah Hall. You be the judge as to who won the dance off but as you can see their names might be similar but the dancing is not. Enjoy!
The UFC is pushing out Ultimate Fighter winner’s right and left these days and at Saturday’s Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale, Dana White will be handing out yet another trophy. The 17th season of the reality series has been one of the best ever and Uriah Hall and Kelvin Gastelum are the last two fighters standing.
The fight card for Saturday’s Ultimate fighter 17 has been fully revealed and Team Sonnen fighter Zak Cummings was surprisingly left off the card. Well before the fight card had even begun to fill up UFC President Dana White stated that all 14 fighters from this season would fight at the finale.
