This Saturday from Istanbul, Turkey Glory World Series presents Glory 6: Istanbul. Headlining the kickboxing card will be heavyweights Daniel Ghita and Gokhan Saki in a rematch of their 2010 K-1 Grand Prix bout. The instant classic was very close with Saki earning the narrowest of decisions and their rematch should certainly deliver.
As the apple drops in the big apple, Dream 18 and Glory 4 will be taking place in Tokyo with some great MMA and Kickboxing. The Dream portion of the show will feature seven MMA bouts including lightweight champion Shinya Aoki vs. Antonio Mckee. The highlight of the Glory portion will be an eight man, one night heavyweight kickboxing Grand Slam.
With a fight card that should please even the most discerning kickboxing fan, It’s Showtime, Europe’s leading kickboxing organization has put together a series of match-ups that should come with a combat sports “over excitement warning”.
