What’s Next for Fedor?

June 26, 2010 marked the night Fedor Emelianenko would taste ”actual” defeat for the first time in his MMA career. In a bout to determine the next challenger for the Strikeforce Heavyweight Championship, Fabrico Werdum submitted Emelianenko at 1:09 of the first round. After getting rocked, Werdum fell to the canvas and Emelianenko followed him carelessly. Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Werdum predictions

The biggest Strikeforce event is just a day away as the worlds number one  men’s and women’s fighters will be on the same card. In the main event the number one men’s fighter in the world Fedor Emelianenko (31-1) will be taking on Fabrico Werdum(13-4-1). Strikeforce Fedor vs the Joker?

We know that Fedor on the left but is the Fabrico Werdum or The Joker on the right??

Throughout the day Fabrico Werdum and his massive entourage were is a playful mood. Earlier in the day they were signing in Portuguese, taking pictures and having a great time.

Will Werdum have that same smile Saturday though?

Charles Krazy Horse Bennett finds fight

Just 5 days after his scheduled fight with Luiz Azeredo (12-8) at Shine Fights 3 was cancelled, Charles Krazy Horse Bennett (22-16-2) has found a replacement. Bennett has been added to the Strikeforce Fedor vs. Werdum fight card on June 26th. Strikeforce offers no guarentees

Within an hour after Strikeforce Heavy Artillery was completed Scott Coker sat behind a table located somewhere inside the Scottrade Center ready to field questions after a solid (none controversial) event. That event saw Alistair Overeem’s first Strikeforce Heavyweight title defense after winning the belt roughly 30 months ago over Paul Buentello. Overeeem (32-11) faced off against Brett Rogers (10-1) and made short work of the aggressive knockout artist who actually looked very tentative in the fight. The champ punished Rogers on their feet and when the fight went to the canvas it wasn’t long before the referee stepped in to stop it. The fight lasted only 3 minutes and 40 seconds and when asked what’s next; Overeem called out Fedor Emelianenko and even added that Fedor has been docking him for years.
