The UFC rolled into Pittsburgh and it was another night of UFC action and another tremendous card. The talk of the MMA world focused on Nate Marquardt being released on the eve of the event, but thanks to the fighters laying it on the line, the talk after the event is how jaw-dropping the action inside the cage turned out to be.
UFC President Dana White released a video via his Twitter account earlier today stating that Nate “The Great” Marquardt has failed his medical clearance and has subsequently been released from the UFC roster altogether. The video was posted a mere hour before the weigh-ins for tomorrow night’s UFC Live event in Pittsburgh.
This weekend offers Mixed Martial Arts fans a virtual cornucopia of MMA with three high profile, televised events will take place over a three day span. It all kicks off Friday night but the grand finale of the weekend is Sunday’s UFC Live: Marquardt vs. Story on the Versus Network.
This Sunday, June 26th, UFC Live: Marquardt vs. Story comes to you live from the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. With injuries causing a shuffle in a few of the fights, the final fight card is set and ready to go down.
