Latest MMA Valor Fighter Rankings for April 2013

If you’re looking for changes to the latest fighter rankings, take a peak at the welterweight rankings and then look no further. The slow month really kept things the same but the lone UFC event in March did reshuffle the ranks of the welterweight division.

UFC 158 saw welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre defeat Nick Diaz to remain top dog, while knocking the challenger down two places. Johny Hendricks defeated the former interim champion Carlos Condit which moved Hendricks into the #2 spot. Condit dropped one place while the Bellator welterweight champion moved up one place without even fighting.

The MMA action picks up a bit in April with three UFC events beginning with this Saturday’s UFC on FUEL TV 9. Several top ranked fighters are scheduled to fight this month along with a few others that could move into the top five with a win. Champions Benson Henderson and Pat Curran will make title defenses this month as well.
