Tonight’s Invicta FC 2 was only the second show the all female promotion has put on but you won’t know this if not for the “2” in the title. Invicta and the ladies that stepped into the cage at the Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas put on a great show tonight with some of the better fights of the year.

The semifinal round of the Strikeforce Grand Prix is in the books and it time to move onto December’s Strikeforce event and the Grand Prix final in early 2012. Before we officially close the book on Saturday’s exciting card, the Ohio Athletic Commission and handed out it medical suspensions along with the reported fighters pay.
The Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix Semi-finals last night wasn’t just about the big boys, but about the disproportionately large amount of prospects making promotional debuts. The first Strikeforce card of the year is in the books and it had a little bit of everything on the televised portion of the card. Headlined by a welterweight showdown between the undefeated Tyron Woodley and Tarec Saffiedine, it was the female fight that stole the show.
