Recapping Bellator 84: The Close of Season Seven

The seventh season for Bellator Fighting Championship and final one on MTV2 has been interesting to say the least and tonight’s Bellator 84 was no different. Bellator 84 closed out the season with yet another bout getting cancelled at the last-minute and the promotion will need to tighten things up before their move in 2013 over to Spike TV.

New Heavyweight champion to be Crowned at Bellator 84

On December 14th, Rich “Rare Bread” Hale will be taking on Alexander “Drago” Volkov at Bellator 84 in Hammond Indiana at the Horseheads Casino for the Heavyweight title. The title did belong to Cole Konrad, but an abrupt retirement left the title up for grabs. So Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney said the winner of the season 7 tournament would be crowned the new heavyweight champion.
