UFC on FX 6: TUF Smashes Finale Bold Predictions
The UFC returns to Australia this weekend for The Ultimate Fighter: Smashes finale or properly called, UFC on FX 6: TUF Smashes. The card will take place on Saturday in Australia but airs live in the states on Friday, giving fans back to back free UFC events when you include Saturdays TUF 16 finale.
UFC on FX 6 will be headlined by the shows two coaches George Sotiropoulos and Ross Pearson facing each other, as well as a middleweight scrap between Hector Lombard and Rousimar Palhares. Sandwiched in between that will be the 155 and 170 pound TUF finals, which if you didn’t watch the second international version of the reality show you might have a tough time deciding who wins. In the welterweight final Brad Scott from Team UK faces Robert Whittaker from Team Australia, while Team UK lightweights Colin Fletcher and Norman Parke face each other in the other final.
The UFC on FX 6 preliminary card will air on FUEL TV and features names like Chad Mendes, Joey Beltran, Igor Pokrajac, Seth Baczynski and Mike Pierce. The six bout preliminary card begins at 3pm PT / 6pm ET and leads into the main card on FX at 6pm PT / 9pm ET.
The overall record heading into this weekend with two events sits at 189-131 (59%) after going 8-3 at last weekend’s UFC on FOX. Between the predictions below and those for Saturday’s TUF 16 Finale that record will look completely different when UFC 155 gets here later this month.
