UFC 150 took place this Saturday night in Denver, Colorado at the Pepsi Center, and on pay per view. In the main event, it was Benson Henderson who pulled off the split decision win to remain the lightweight champion. The first round clearly went to Henderson and the second and fifth round went to Edgar, but the third and fourth rounds were very close rounds. Although many fans seem to disagree, two of the three judges gave those middle rounds to Henderson to give him the split decision win. According to the UFC, Nate Diaz will now square off against Benson Henderson for the lightweight strap.

UFC 150 weigh ins took place Friday in preparation for Saturday Night’s card at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. All fighters made weight with the exception of Melvin Guillard who came in at 1.5 pounds over. Guillard has decided not to weigh in a second time, and he will forfeit 5% of his purse to his opponent Donald Cerrone and 5% to the athletic commission. The fight will take place as planned.

Nearly 70% (15 of 22) of the fighters on the UFC 143: Diaz vs. Condit card was issued medical suspensions today by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. Of the 15 fighters to be suspended, seven of those could be out of action for up to six months. One of the seven fighters that avoided suspension was Nick Diaz who lost in the main event to Carlos Condit by Unanimous Decision.
