It’s finally the heavyweights turn to kick off their season 5 tournament tomorrow’s Bellator 52 from the L’Auberge du Lac Casino Resort in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Eight “big” men will enter the Bellator cage, each vying for a shot the heavyweight champion Cole Konrad.
The featherweight tournament is now down to just two fighters as the semifinals are now in the books and the finals are set. The televised portion of Bellator 47 featured the two semifinal tournament bouts along with two other special attraction fights.
Zak Jensen was one of the 16 heavyweight fighters to participate in the tenth season of The Ultimate Fighter. Jensen was a member of team Rampage and in episode six lost to Darrill Schoonover from team Rashad by first round submission (triangle choke).
