Legacy FC 14On September 14th, at The Houston Arena Theatre in Houston Texas, LEGACY Fighting Championship will host what they’re saying looks to be the fight card of the year in Legacy FC 14, live on AXS tv.

Jeff  “The Executioner” Rexroad (5-1), who’s riding a four fight win streak, was originally scheduled to fight the welterweight champ Jorge “Macaco” Patino for the belt. Patino caught the injury bug during training and stepping up in his place to fight “The Executioner” will be his teammate Lucas Pamenta (8-1). The good news is that the fight will still be a five round interim title fight. So despite the injury, someone will be crowned the new champ and walk away with a belt.

Another exciting fight you won’t want to miss is the pro debut of Matt “Danger” Schnell (0-0) of MTV’s reality series ‘CAGED’ taking on Houston’s own Ryan Hollis (0-0), who is  also making his pro debut. When asked by Legacy Magazine what his thoughts were on his fight with Hollis, Schnell stated “I know  that I’m more experienced than him, and he seems almost cocky and I think that will go against him. I feel like he has never run into someone like me before.” Hollis was asked by TXMMA his thoughts on Schnell, and he said “I think he’s a nice guy and very respectful but come fight night, I’ll show you why coming to Texas to fight me was a very bad choice by his managers and team.”. Only one hand will be raised. who will it be?

Also making his pro debut will be NCAA division 1 national champion, Darrion Caldwell (0-0) going up against David Armas (2-4) in a featherweight showdown.
