Well known and well liked by Houston MMA fans, former marine and current HPD police officer Jeff Rexroad (5-1) was originally scheduled to fight Jorge Patino at Legacy FC 14. Patino suffered a torn ACL eight days away from the fight and in his place to fight Rexroad is Patino’s teammate, BJJ black belt Lucas Pamenta (8-1). The bout will be for the interim welterweight title and will be three, three-minute rounds instead of five.
