Legacy Fighting Championship

The weekend is packed with sports but it was tonight’s LFC 29 that gets it all started. Besides the main event, the LFC 29 fight card wasn’t filled with “names” to grab you attention. That didn’t stop the fights from being entertaining though and here is what stood out to me.

Another solid showing by the young and talented LFC crew, as their top dogs went to war and came back largely victorious at last night's LFC 26. There was plenty of action and a few potential UFC fighters down the road, so let's check out what went down in Texas.

A card for hardcore LFC fans as some of the best the promotion has to offer will be in display during Friday night’s LFC 26. It's a fight card that's set to go fast, with murderous finishers across the board headlined by the former WEC and UFC fighter Leonard Garcia fighting for the featherweight title.

It’s another night of Texas showdowns, as Legacy Fighting Championships puts on a title fight with local pride on the line at Friday’s LFC 25. Jorge Patino will bring his Lightweight belt to the cage for another challenge, as he takes on rising force in Texas MMA, Carlos Diego Ferreira.

A card that took some damage from injuries and lopsided matchmaking, we still had a few decent scraps to help fill our Friday night. At LFC 24 there were three battlers fall under the microscope and here is what I saw.

Tonight’s LFC 23 saw two first round knockouts under 10 seconds to open things and closed the night with two fights that will be in consideration for year-end awards. Aside from one fight, the LFC 23 card was very entertaining from top to bottom. Competing for live viewers against Bellator 99, LFC 23 delivered the goods and won the head to head battle.

It'll be another outstanding night of Texas MMA, as LFC rolls out the canvas and gets ready for war at Tomorrows LFC 23. Our main event is a battle of time-tested veteran versus scrappy newcomer, as Pete Spratt takes on Tim Means. There's another scrappy bastard on the card as well, with everyone's favorite windmill, Leonard Garcia faces another Texas slugger in Nick Gonzalez in a two-man battle royale.

From inside the Lubbock Civic Center in Lubbock, Texas Legacy Fighting Championships 22 put some of the past and present MMA talent from the state of Texas. Headlined by one of Lubbock’s own fighters, Paul Buentello took on James McSweeney in his light heavyweight debut after a long career at heavyweight.
