With the UFC holding down the afternoon for us, the night belonged to World Series of Fighting (WSOF 6), which panned out to be a decidedly awesome event. There were highs and lows all around, so let’s dig into some key notes of what transpired.
With an action-packed MMA weekend, Saturday night’s WSOF 6 is just what you need to cap it all off. Below I’ve highlighted some of the more competitive and interesting fights of the evening across the main and prelim cards, where WSOF’s home-grown products will look to shine, and veteran fighters will look up upset.
The stellar World Series of Fighting promotion brought smart match-making, rising stars and familiar faces to the cage in Las Vegas for tonight’s WSOF 3. It was worth staying home on a Friday night, but if you missed it, here’s what went down inside The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel at WSOF 3.
The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada will play host to the WSOF 3 event to be held on Friday, June 14th. The upstart promotion had previously announced welterweights Josh Burkman and Jon Fitch as the headliners for their third event but today they began announcing more fights.
At last night’s World Championship Fighting 11, the former UFC fighter Dan “The Upgrade” Lauzon took home the WCF lightweight championship in the night’s main event. The younger brother of current UFC lightweight Joe Lauzon, Dan came out aggressive and dominated his opponent for a 1st round knockout.
Former UFC fighter Dan Lauzon (14-4) will be making his return to the Massachusetts-based promotion, World Championship Fighting on June 18th for their WCF 11 event. The Massachusetts native will be taking on the submission based fighter Noah Weisman (5-1) for the WCF lightweight title in the main event of the night.
Tomorrows PPV isn’t the best ever but I guess considering the number of injuries it could have been worse.

Bellator 100 Weigh-in Pictures
Last night the fighters for tonight’s Bellator 100 stepped onto the scales with all 24 fighters making weight. The historic 100th event for Bellator takes places tonight from the Grand Canyon University Arena in Phoenix, Arizona and features an all welterweight main card on Spike TV.

Due to a previously scheduled Arena Football game at the HP Pavilion, today’s UFC on FOX 7 weigh-ins were held less than a mile away at the California Theater. The small theater was completely filled with cheering fans and all the fighters they came to see made weight.

Amidst everything else going on, the UFC has themselves a busy day today with the UFC on FX 6 taking place in Australia and The Ultimate Fighter 16 finale weigh-ins. All 24 fighters made weight today for tomorrow’s event that will crown The Ultimate Fighter 16 welterweight winner.
UFC on FUEL TV 4 Weigh-in Results and Photos
SAN JOSE, Cal. – Still recovering from Saturday’s UFC 148, MMAValor.com was inside the HP Pavilion for today’s UFC on FUEL TV 4 weigh-ins. A few of the fighters would need to step onto the scale behind a towel but all 22 fighters on the UFC on FUEL TV 4 fight card made weight.
