During last night’s UFC on FOX 6 preliminary card, lightweight TJ Grant made a huge statement. Not only was it his fourth consecutive win since moving down to the 155 pound weight class, but the way he defeated the very tough Matt Wiman put an exclamation point on things.
If the FOX executives had a thing against blood then they really didn’t like tonight’s UFC on FOX 6. Nasty Elbows turned unlucky fighters into a bloody mess that would have made any horror movie director proud. It was the flyweights that headlined UFC on FOX 6 but the featherweights and lightweights stole the show.
It seems like these FOX cards have been getting special treatment as yet again Saturday’s UFC on FOX 6 looks stacked. Headlining the card will be the flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson as he makes his first title defense against The Ultimate Fighter winner John Dodson.

The UFC on Fox series has been heating up with their stacked television cards and this weekend’s UFC on FOX 6 is no exception to the rule. The first month of 2013 starts out pretty slow in regards to MMA. SAN JOSE, Cal. – Still recovering from Saturday’s UFC 148, MMAValor.com was inside the HP Pavilion for today’s UFC on FUEL TV 4 weigh-ins. A few of the fighters would need to step onto the scale behind a towel but all 22 fighters on the UFC on FUEL TV 4 fight card made weight.
