MMA Fighter Rankings for August 2011
The calendar has changed from July to August and for MMA fans it couldn’t have come fast enough. As far as MMA action, July was a slow month compared to the multiple high-profile events of June and August. Away from the action it wasn’t any better as multiples injuries ravaged upcoming cards and Strikeforce heavyweight champion Alistair Overeem was removed from the grand prix and later released entirely.
With the UFC 132 card already included in last month’s rankings, it left us with only the Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Henderson and Bellator 47 cards for high-profile MMA action to shake up the ranks. With that said you wont notice many changes to the ranks but that is sure to change after this month’s MMA action.
The goal here is to give you the best rankings that we can provide you with and of course a spot below for you to disagree and complain. So without further ado here is the latest MMAValor.com fighter Rankings:

By far the best rankings ive seen…The only things I would disagree with is Bisping shouldnt be metioned and Pettis should be mentioned. Otherwise perfect!! Side note… Diaz will give GSP all he can handle. I predict a controversial 5 round dec in favor of GSP.
@Todd
Thanks for the comment. Pettis is a tough one really. I’ve had him on there a few times and the loss to Guida hurt him. Lets hope its not too controversial between GSP and Diaz, LOL
