UFC on FUEL TV 2: Gustafsson vs. Silva Predictions

Ok playtime it over! The UFC is back and we’re dusting off the predictions desk to once again bring you a full fight card of predictions. Saturday’s UFC on FUEL TV 2: Gustafsson vs. Silva will take place in Sweden in the first time in the promotions history. Headlining the card will be Sweden’s own Alexander Gustafsson in a light heavyweight showdown against Thiago Silva.

Gustafsson will be anchoring his first UFC card while facing his toughest challenge to date inside the Octagon. Silva is coming back from a one year suspension and in many ways will also be facing his toughest test inside the Octagon.

The rest of the six-fight main card might not jump out at you but it features several intriguing bouts.

Co-headlining the card is a middleweight scrap between Brian Stann and Alessio Sakara that should get the Swedish fans hyped and ready for Gustafsson’s main even entrance. Siyar Bahadurzada will finally make his UFC debut against the very tough Paulo Thiago in the welterweight division. The quick rising featherweight Diego Nunes will look to impress and possibly earn a title shot against Jose Aldo when he takes on Dennis Siver in his 145 lbs. debut. Rounding out the main card will be DaMarques Johnson and John Maguire in welterweight bout and bantamweights Damacio Page and Brad Pickett opening things up on Fuel TV.

If you recall (or we can forget) we went a horrible 3-7 with our UFC on FX: Alves vs. Kampmann picks to bring our overall record to a mediocre 41-39. Hopefully the break did us well as we shake off the “pick rust” and bring you the UFC on FUEL TV 2 predictions.
